Firstly, thank you for your continued support with the development of our Nose-to-Tail Veterinary Visual Assessment, and for your patience as we move into the next stage. We wanted to provide a brief update on our progress and outline the next steps.

 

You are receiving this email as you are either a Breed Health Coordinator, secretary of a registered breed club, were nominated for a breeder workshop and/or breed-specific session, signed up to our evaluation day at Stoneleigh, or simply registered your interest in further consultation opportunities.

 

Please be aware, during development, we have referred to the assessment as “Nose-to-Tail”. However, as this name is already used for other assessments run by other organisations, we must consider launching it under a different name. We’d welcome your suggestions – please use our feedback form to share any ideas and vote on potential names.

 

To support this next stage, we’ve prepared the following resources:

 

You’re welcome to privately forward these materials to any interested individuals within your breed community and encourage them to also share their feedback via our online survey.

 

 

Please note that the assessment will now be trialled at the following championship shows:

The assessment will be refined in response to feedback gathered during this trial, and we encourage anyone attending one of the above shows to have their dog assessed. Trial assessments will be free of charge and can be booked on the day of the show on a first-come, first-served basis. We’ll be sharing more information on how you can get involved shortly via our Health & Breeder News Facebook page.
